Marketing Manager

OVERVIEW 

The marketing manager manages the day to day marketing activities of the organisation and long term marketing strategy for the company.

This position is full time salaried with benefits, including attendance at various training events and industry-specific conferences.

 

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for the strategy and management of social media, email and print content. The job also offer the opportunity to host our own marketing events and run sponsorship programs with event and networking organisers.

Excellent knowledge of social media sites, search engines, forums, blogs, video sharing sites and podcasting is a must. The ability to find solutions in order to generate measurable results is necessary. You must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to write and edit high quality content.

The role includes:

  • Implement the Marketing plan and deliver marketing activities within a set budget and that subsequently add top-line value to the company's total revenue performance
  • Plan advertising schedules and materials in conjunction with relevant departments and working closely with creative agencies and media partners
  • Generate media coverage for the company and control the management of the website via the CMS
  • Responsible for the integration of social media within the company's marketing strategy
  • Lead and manage the activities and productivity of the development team and responsible for the staff rostering, payroll, absence and holidays to meet with business demand
  • Create an environment that promotes employee morale and encourages effective team work, ensuring effective communication within the team

Your role is key in supporting other members of the team and you will have the ability to multi-task across various projects and platforms is essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Proven experience in marketing management within the digital media industry
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all aspects of marketing disciplines
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Well developed commercial acumen and the ability to formulate and implement marketing strategies
  • Strong organisational, administrative and people management skills
  • A qualification in a marketing or business management related field
